Michael Steger was born on May 17, 1985 in Los Angeles and stars as high school journalist Navid Shirazi in The CW drama “90210.”
Steger completed filming the independent feature “Assisting Venus” this summer, and recently made his feature film debut in the Disney movie “The Cheetah Girls: One World.” As Vik Bhatia, he plays a young, aspiring Bollywood movie director who offers The Cheetah Girls a role in his film, only to have his dreams and creative vision stifled by his shrewd uncle.

Steger’s career began to take off when Tim Burton cast and directed him as the lead in the music video for the song “Bones,” by popular rock band The Killers. Soon after, Steger landed his first television series opposite Rob Corddry in “The Winner,” produced by Seth MacFarlane. Following the sitcom, Michael became a series regular on “Buzz,” a pilot in which he starred opposite Sharon Lawrence.
