Craving a place in Toluca Lake?

“Twilight” star Peter Facinelli and his wife, actress Jennie Garth, are hoping for a bite on the $5,995,000 home they have listed in Toluca Lake.

The Paul Williams traditional house, built in 1937, was once the home of country singer and actor Tex Ritter and the childhood home of his son, the late actor John Ritter. The structure retains Williams’ architectural details, including crown molding and a crescent-shaped staircase. Enlarged and renovated, the house has six bedrooms, eight bathrooms and 8,416 square feet of living space.

Formal living and dining rooms, a bar room, a game room, a kitchen with a fireplace, two guest suites and maid’s quarters are downstairs. Upstairs rooms include two master bedroom suites, one of which has dual walk-in closets, a safe room and a sitting room with a fireplace. A separate second-floor wing has a gym, bathroom, media room and dual offices.

Peter Facinelli Is a ‘Babe’ – Just Ask Jennie Garth

Twilight fans may swoon over Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner – but Jennie Garth has the hots for another vamp: Her husband Peter Facinelli, who plays Carlisle Cullen in the film series.

“I always see him as really foxy,” Garth told PEOPLE about her heartthrob husband at the Style n’ Smile event on Thursday in New York City. “I’ve always thought, ‘Wow, I’m super lucky.’ He’s a babe.”

Even after 15 years together, their relationship remains strong – and they have passed their good genes on to their three daughters Luca, 13 Lola, 7 and Fiona, 4.

But that’s not all they have passed on. Garth says that although her kids are exposed to Hollywood life – and beauty expectations – she tries to make sure her kids are confident and have a positive self-image.

“My mom really instilled in me that I’m beautiful and I can do anything, and I echo that now with my own girls,” says Garth.

She also leads by example, showing her girls that it’s okay to be silly as long as you feel comfortable with yourself. With years as a teen star under her belt, the former Beverley Hills, 90210 star doesn’t let gossip or fame keep her from being fun or wacky.

“This is me, take it or leave it,” says Garth. “And I hope that by example, I might be showing my girls that it’s all fun.”

Jennie Garth and the American Association of Orthodontists

The American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) is teaming up with celebrity mom and 90210-star Jennie Garth to highlight the latest in back-to-school fashion and orthodontic treatment. On Thursday, August 5, Garth will host the AAO Style ‘N Smile Fashion show, an exclusive event in the heart of New York City, where healthy, confident smiles are the must-have accessories of the season.

“As the mother of three children – one of whom has just had her braces taken off – and an actress, I know how important a beautiful smile can be,” said Garth. “A healthy, beautiful smile, and the confidence that goes with it, is something that never goes out of style.”

At the show, celebrity-stylist Melis Kuris will style the looks of more than a dozen local orthodontic patients who will model the latest in affordable teen fashion. Local AAO orthodontists will be on hand to make sure each model’s smile is runway ready. Garth, who will serve as the show’s emcee, also will announce a $10,000 donation to the Boys & Girls Club of America. The donation will be used to fund programs that will help to boost self esteem among New York City area students. Beyond the runway, the Style ‘N Smile program extends online at http://www.braces.org/stylensmile/ with fashion tips and orthodontic information for both students and adults alike.

Fascinating fact

TWILIGHT star PETER FACINELLI and his wife JENNIE GARTH have bought their daughter a pet pig as a 13th birthday gift. The teen has named the porker Mia Hamm after her favourite female soccer star. The pig will join the horses, goats and chickens on the family’s California ranch.

free image hostCINCINNATI, June 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ — The Procter & Gamble Company’s (NYSE: PG) Bounty® brand is teaming up with husband-and-wife duo Peter Facinelli and Jennie Garth, along with dozens of local Los Angeles-area volunteers from HandsOn Network and Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation today to “Make a Clean Difference” at Los Angeles’ Kingsley Elementary School. Answering the call from President Obama for Americans to volunteer in the community, Bounty’s “Make a Clean Difference” program is uniting more than 1,000 volunteers to transform the learning environments of 30 public schools in 10 cities across the country.

“Twilight”-saga star Peter Facinelli and “90210′s” Jennie Garth are leading the team of community volunteers in tackling everything from lending extra hands to spruce up classrooms with a fresh coat of paint to planting flowers and gardening outdoor areas.

“Jennie and I are thrilled to be here in Los Angeles to join Bounty and all of the volunteers who have given their time today to truly make a difference in the lives of these young students,” said Peter Facinelli. “As parents of three daughters, we understand the importance of inspiring children in the classroom, and we are happy to be part of a program committed to improving their learning potential.”

The cast of 90210 goes green

“We do everything from recycling to using cloth instead of plastic bags, driving a hybrid and using natural products,” says Jennie Garth of 90210, which has its season finale May 19. “I’m very fond of Lycomed and Arcona skin care products. I also use Shaklee. They have some great products like vitamins. My mom used to sell Shaklee when I was a little girl. They have household cleaning, all that stuff,” she says.

Co-star Dustin Milligan drives a rented Camry hybrid, and composts at home. “I’m very conscious of eco-issues. I recycle and compost and I’m trying not to be so wasteful by buying food and products that come in less packaging. Last Christmas, we used newspaper for wrapping and saved a lot of paper.”

Shenae Grimes, also from 90210, drives a Prius and has a recycling bin at home. “Where I’m from in Canada it’s the law so I’m not used to people not doing that here. Global warming is real,” she says.

Co-star Michael Steger brings his own bags to the supermarket and is looking into getting a hybrid SUV. “We waste so much. In the United States alone there’s so much excess. We need to live with less.”
