Apparently, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson isn’t content to merely be a huge rap star — it looks like the music mogul has now set his sights on Hollywood. We brought you news about Jackson’s latest project, Things Fall Apart (wherein he dropped a huge amount of weight to play a character battling cancer), but that’s not the only thing the performer has on his plate. A trailer for Gun — a film not only featuring 50 in a starring role, but based on one of the three screenplays he’s written — turned up this weekend. So what, exactly, does a film based on a 50 Cent screenplay look like? If you guessed “a generic B-action movie that wears its influences like a neon badge of honor” you’re on the right track.
This isn’t meant to insult the man — there’s always room for a good B grade action movie about gun dealers in the city and a white guy ex-con (Val Kilmer) sent to infiltrate the group. It gives you plenty of opportunities for interracial bonding between the tough guy from the streets and the white guy he has little in common with, but accepts into his inner circle anyway. Plus it leads up to the big reveal where said arms dealer learns he’s been betrayed — that’s action cinema 101.
What’s most amazing about the trailer is all the famous people who turn up. Not only do you get 50 and Kilmer, but James Remar and John Larroquette as well. 90210’s Annalynne McCord shows up as the love interest/requisite sex object.

An edgy, contemporary spin-off of the iconic drama “Beverly Hills, 90210,” the new “90210″ looks at the clique of teenagers, their agonies and their victories. Season two of 90210 focuses on our group as they begin their all-important Junior year. They’ll go through all the ordinary teenage struggles and triumphs – crushes, sexual discovery, academic pressure, evolving friendships, shunning and isolation, love and relationships, family issues, SATs, STDs, a desire to fit in, a desire to stand out, fear and humiliation, joy and exultation – but they’ll do so in the extraordinary world of LA.
CBS DVD and Paramount Home Entertainment have announced this morning that 90210 – The Complete 2nd Season will arrive on DVD this coming August 24th. Amazon has been taking pre-orders for this title since mid-April, but this is the first time the studio has offered a release date for the product. Cost is $44.99 SRP (minus the seller’s discount, which is currently generous in the case of Amazon), for a package that runs approx. 905 minutes, and includes the following bonus material:
Package art isn’t available yet, but stay tuned for that!

The female protagonists on CW’s revamp of 90210, like the characters in many a teen drama, have wardrobes meticulously defined by their very archetypal personalities. Drama queen Naomi (AnnaLynne McCord) clutches Fendi baguettes; edgy Silver (Jessica Stroup) wears a single dangling earring from time to time; former midwesterner Annie (Shenae Grimes) seems most at ease in cutesy, girly frocks; and vintage queen Adriana (Jessica Lowndes) wears old-school halter swimsuits like a regular pinup girl.
Now Bebe Stores Inc and CBS have announced a partnership that will see four separate clothing collections inspired by the ladies of 90210 launched over the course of the show’s third season. It sounds like a teen dream: The clothing will hit Bebe stores at the same time it airs on TV.
Which 90210 style maven do you most identify with? Would you ever want to raid her wardrobe?

…He Already Has A New GF!
Aaron is a bad, bad boy. Just weeks after splitting with 90210 star Jessica, the Breaking Bad actor has moved on with a new woman!
Just three months ago, Aaron Paul was gushing over his love for girlfriend of a year, Jessica Lowndes. But on May 20, the Breaking Bad star brought a new woman — fashion-friendly lady love Jacqueline Novak — on a romantic Napa Valley getaway!
“Aaron and Jessica split up in late April,” an insider dished to HollywoodLife.com exclusively. “He met Jacqueline at the Coachella Music Festival [in Indio, Calif.] in April. She thought he was cute, and kept on ‘accidentally’ running into him until he noticed her. But they seem like a good fit. They’re both really low-key.”
The 30-year-old actor took his new lady love to Oakley’s “Learn to Ride” event in Sonoma, Calif. May 20, where our source reports the two were kissing, cuddling and canoodling during a private dinner in a private space in Yountville, Calif.
INTERESTING development, considering that during an event in LA Feb. 23, the actor was gushing over his love for 90210 star Jessica, 21, telling us “romance is good!”
Apparently romance IS good for this Bad star — a romance with someone else!

In just a few short years, AnnaLynne McCord has broken down the very difficult doors of Hollywood and has made her stunning presence known. Just a couple years after appearing in her first project, she secured the part of Eden Lord in the hit series Nip/Tuck. Then she secured the role of Naomi Clark in the revised Beverly Hills 90210 series. Astoundingly, with these two roles, she she has nailed the bad girl image and it wouldn’t be surprising to think that that’s who she is. But it’s not!
Unlike many pretty faces in Hollywood, not only is she one of the sweetest and giving people I’ve met in this town, she’s also incredibly dedicated to her craft. During my interview with her, she truly impressed me.
She may have won me over, but if you’re not won over yet, you should know, that when I say she’s giving, she’s giving. Not only does she donate a ton of money to needy causes, she volunteers for a variety of charities such as the Blind Project to help those who truly need it.
YOU MAY KNOW HER FROM: 90210 (2009-Present) | Nip/Tuck (2007-2009) | American Heiress (2007) | Ugly Betty (2007) | The Transporter 2 (2005)
Ever wonder how celebrities maintain their beautiful skin? The following is part of an interview between AnnaLynne McCord of Beverly Hills 90210 and Scott-Vincent Borba, Celebrity Esthetician & Founder of BORBA Skin Care.
My conversation begins with AnnaLynne telling me that she started in stage very young at the age of nine. She shared with me that while her parents loved her quoting Shakespeare and bringing on tears at will, they were afraid for her to do the Hollywood thing and didn’t quite support it.
Now with her talents being noticed, she just finished two new projects in a genre she said she loves most – Action! She stated “ I love bad ass, strong female roles.”
I told her that this is awesome because she reminds me of an Angelina Jolie type. Since her response to what I said was so awesome and I don’t think I can do it justice, I’ll just let you see what she said:
” Thank you! I’ll definitely take that. I love her so much. And for a million reasons. She incredible woman/actress/mother. And she’s one of the actresses who’s also really using her voice in a humanitarian way to make the world better. The whole package is amazing. So thank you so much.”
I can see the same career path for her too.
I then let her know that I watch 90210 and am a huge fan of how good she is at expressing facial emotions before she even says anything and that a lot of people I see on screen can’t. She told me about a book she read that helped her see how she does this called “the Power of the Actor” by Ivana Chubbuck which talks about actors who think they’re really good because they can cry on cue. Yet people in real life don’t really want to cry in real life in front of other people – that they fight it like it’s the worst thing in the world. That you’re supposed to see the emotions and it becomes a secret – like guilt, shame, fear or pain and then you cover it. This provides a connection to you and the audience that other players on the stage might not see and it’s your secret. For both of us, it was a really cool understanding of connecting with the audience.
I then started to talk to her about beauty and skin care. Here’s our dialog:
Scott-Vincent Borba (SV): What [has been] your biggest skin care challenge, and what is your biggest skin care issue that you’d like an answer to?
AnnaLynne McCord (AM): That would be acne. It’s more or less just keeping a handle on it 9 months of the year knowing that I’ll be going to work and going to have to be in makeup, or debris, or have to do what I’m doing all day.
