HollywoodNews.com: As Adrianna on ‘90210′, Jessica Lowndes has been everything from a drug addict to a pregnant teen to bi-curious. These days, though, she’s a singing sensation–both onscreen and off.

“My character is no longer in high school, she’s now touring and doing the rock star thing and is definitely a lot stronger this season,” explains Lowndes in a new interview with TV Fanatic. “I’ve been singing since I was three; it’s one thing in Adrianna’s life that I can totally relate to.”

It appears life is imitating art. Lowndes, who was originally brought onto the show for her singing abilities but made a regular after an enthusiastic fan reception, has previewed several songs as a solo artist and has additional music projects in the works, following in Adrianna’s footsteps with her musical jet-setting. “During hiatus I started putting together an album, which is fantastic,” she reveals. “I got to record a lot in LA and London and I teamed up with this pop artist from the UK called Ironik. We have a single ["Falling in Love"] coming out on October 25 in London.”

She adds, “I’ve been able to record for the show, so there’s going to be a lot more music this season. We start filming episode six next week, and it’s the craziest episode ever…It’s only been a summer since you’ve seen [Adrianna] last, so her lifestyle’s changed, she’s still the same person and she’s trying to stay as normal as possible but her life is going at a different rate and speed. She makes a really bad decision at some point, which is the worst thing ever and she’s stuck and can’t get out of it. Something like that is definitely going to change her. You’re going to see how fame can really go to someone’s head.”

Mccord Delighted With Charity’s $250,000 Grant

Actress ANNALYNNE MCCORD has thanked her Twitter.com fans for their support after her favoured charity won a $250,000 (£156,250) grant to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans.

The 90210 star is a longterm supporter of the St. Bernard Project, which provides relief for survivors of the 2005 natural disaster.

They desperately needed funds to build a wellbeing centre in the Louisiana city, and MCCord entered them into a Pepsi Refresh Celebrity Challenge for a $250,000 prize.

And she was delighted to discover on Thursday (02Sep10) that they had triumphed in the vote.

In a post on her Twitter page, she writes, “WE WON!!!! WE WON!! THANK YOU PEPSI REFRESH!!! @SIMONHUCK I LOVE YOU!! @stbernardproj Won $250k thks to all of you amazing ppl (people) voting!”

We’re taking you behind the scenes of “90210″ as guest stars Kim and Khloe Kardashian shoot a drama-packed scene with series hottie AnnaLynne McCord.

“We’ve always been [such big fans] of ‘Beverly Hills, 90210′ and we love the newer ’90210,’ so we thought it was just a perfect fit,” Kim tells ET.

“They’re really sweet,” Naomi says. “I love the dynamic of having the sisters doing family things… I have two sisters and so it’s cool whenever I see that in Hollywood — people sticking with their family and doing things together.”

Kim and Khloe guest star as themselves on the show, playing friends of AnnaLynne’s character Naomi, who’s in need of a dress, pronto. But when the sisters try to help her out with selections from their shop, Dash, mayhem ensues — and a fun time on the set was had by all, Kim and Khloe tell us.

“I mean, we’re not actresses,” Khloe says.
“Speak for yourself,” Kim teases back.
“Okay, ‘Angelina,’” Khloe jokes.

Maybe it’s because Gossip Girl and Degrassi already had all the sex, drugs, and teen queens we could handle, but the new 90210 seems less risque than its previous incarnation.  After all, the first season had Kelly doing cocaine, Dylan chasing the mafia, and David Silver’s best friend shooting himself (accidentally) at a house party – and don’t even get us started on Andrea trying to join that sorority…
