Matt Lanter Interview @ “Empire strikes back” screening

Here is a video of what the stars had to say… Matt’s interview on the red carpet is about 3 minutes in. Take a look!

And here’s a little interview with Matt on the red carpet. Take notes!:

When was the first time you saw The Empire Strikes Back?
In my bedroom when I was maybe twelve or thirteen.

What did you think?
I liked it, I loved it, but I didn’t know how everything fit together until I got on Star Wars and started becoming part of the family.

If you were stuck on Hoth, what would you do?
Build a fire. That’s the first thing.

No tauntaun?
I don’t know. You know they make those tauntaun sleeping bags now. Have you seen those?

Yeah.
That’s pretty wild.

Have you tried one yet?
I haven’t. Maybe I should try to get someone to hook me up with one.

Annalynne McCord speaks ‘90210′ Season Finale

90210’s Annalynne McCord, best known as the rich and spoiled Naomi Clark, stopped by to speak about the season finale of the hit show.

McCord joined the CW show in 2008 as the girl who’s rich, popular, and spoiled, having the priviledge of getting what she wants. From lying to crying, Clark (Annalynne) is in the mix of getting everything taken away when she finds out her sister is back home and is pregnant. As for Clark (Annalynne), her role takes turns when Leam breaks up with her and finds herself trapped in the school with the teacher.

McCord began auditioning when she was working for the Wilhelmina Modeling Agency. She has been cast ever since for several films including Fired Up, The Haunting of Molly Hartley, and Transporter 2.

Be sure to catch 90210 on the CW.

‘90210’s’ Shenae Grimes on the finale, Luke Perry and whether Liam’s boat floats

Shooting on Season 2 of “90210” has wrapped, but Shenae Grimes (who plays Annie) isn’t resting. She’s working on finding a hospital to partner with on a nonprofit program she founded called Project Lemonade. The program aims to enrich the lives of seriously ill children and teens by pairing them with an artist peer.

Project Lemonade grew out of Grimes’ personal photography project, in which she took photos of her best friend, Laura Worthington, as she was fighting Hodgkin’s lymphoma, a cancer that affects the lymphatic system, part of the immune system.

In March, Grimes had her first showing of those photos at a silent auction benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and she would like to do many more.

“I’m hoping to pair off with a hospital in L.A.,” Grimes, 20, tells us, “and start this sort of creative, spiritual endeavor for pediatric cancer patients, and hopefully it will become an annual event.”

Grimes spoke to us not only about Project Lemonade but also about which of the original “Beverly Hills, 90210” cast members she’d love to guest-star on the show, Rob Estes’ departure and what to expect from “90210’s” Season 2 finale.

Warning: Spoiler alert!

Actress Has Best of Both Worlds on ‘90210′

Jessica Lowndes, who plays Adrianna on ‘90210,’ proves she’s a double threat with her latest storyline where her character gets a record deal. In real life, Lowndes is also working on an album. (May 11)

90210’s Tristan Wilds on what’s next for Dixon

90210Wilds

As the second season of 90210 races to it’s finale next Tuesday, there are still plenty of stories and drama to be stirred up so I rang up Dixon (aka actor Tristan Wilds) to find out the scoop as well as ask him about his non-90210 career, what he’s hearing from his many fans on Twitter and what he’d like to see Dixon go through in season 3.

Jim Halterman: What are fans going to see from Dixon the rest of the season?

Tristan Wilds: You can definitely expect some more relationship woes, to say the least. That’s definitely going to pick up. There’s going to be a lot of ups and downs. There’s going to be a lot of stuff going on in the house as well as in school. It’s going to be fun so you have to watch! Dixon always manages to find trouble somehow.

JH: Dixon seems like such a good guy but why does trouble seem to find him?

TW: I guess it’s that ‘good guys finish last’ thing. He’s definitely a good guy at heart but, you know, at the end of the day he’s a teenage kid and he always winds up finding himself into trouble when he’s just trying to have fun or do what he thinks he’s right.

JH: I guess the nature of the show is if you are in a relationship it probably won’t go smoothly but I know fans would love to see you with Silver (Jessica Stroup)?

TW: I think there will probably always be something with Dixon and Silver but, again, it’s Beverly Hills so you never know what to expect.

JH: What are the challenges for you in being on such a high profile show?

TW: I definitely think about the attention that it gets but it’s because of the fans. For me, it’s all about the fans. I thank everyone for watching but other than that I don’t think any of us really worry about it too much.

JH: Are you on Twitter and talk to your fans directly?

TW: I do have Twitter. @TristanWilds.  [Note: Wilds has over 36,000 Twitter followers!]

Sara Foster interview

Here is the 90210 part of an interview Sara Foster did with moviehole.net. I know it is not much but I really like her and her character so I am posting it anyway :)

You can finde the full (really good) interview here

Ben: So that was six years ago and then you went into TV and gained some good roles. Like in Beverly Hills.
SF: Yeah, that’s been like little over a year now.

Ben: It’s Jen Clarke isn’t it?
SF: That’s right.

Ben: And you don’t really know how to take her either, do you?
SF: No no.

Ben: D’you tend to go for those types of characters?
SF: No. No way. I wasn’t really looking for her. They found me. I read it and I wasn’t drawn to 90210, but the character.. Well, who wouldn’t wanna be the evil villain, right?

Ben: Too right.
SF: I worked hard to get it. I auditioned many times. And yeah, it’s been fun.

‘90210′: Trevor Donovan on Silver, Teddy and how Ryan O’Neal upped his game

Teddy Montgomery is a reformed playboy.

Silver may have thought it to be impossible, but the kid is actually trying to make their monogamous relationship work.

And so far, so good.

“We’ve had our ups and downs and I think we’re definitely hashing things out,” Trevor Donovan, who plays Teddy, tells Korbi TV in the video interview below. “Ultimately, we really care about each other.”

Of course, the recent arrival of his father — played by the legendary Ryan O’Neal — has added an extra complication to the mix.

It’s either the girlfriend or the tennis career as far as T’s pops is concerned and he has made that clear.

In the next couple episodes, Teddy will have to decide what he’s going to choose… though something tells me the kid can have both.

Watch the clip for more from Trevor on that subject, plus what it was like to work with O’Neal, whom he says really upped his acting game…

PIX Morning News – 90210’s Jessica Lowndes

Here is an interview Jessica Lowndes did for PIX Morning on May 10th 2010

I’d love to do a Bollywood movie: Michael Steger

Michel Steger who plays the role of Navid Shirazi on the hit popular series 90201 talks to Nikhil Taneja about his experience in India and bollywood plans.

You played the role of an Indian director, Vikram, in the movie, The Cheetah Girls: One World. How did that role happen?
It sometimes works for the story when the actor playing the role isn’t familiar with that space, so he/she can interpret it in his own way. It could be a personality aspect, or in the case of The Cheetah Girls, the role of a person from a different nationality. That’s what made me take up the role.

The movie was shot extensively in India. What are your memories of shooting here?
(Enthusiastically) Oh, yeah! It was just amazing to explore the beautiful Indian culture first hand. Going to India was magical! The food, the culture, the architecture, the people… it was great exploring all of that. I went to a lot of weddings, interacted with a lot of the local people, made a lot of friends. I loved exploring the city palaces of Rajasthan under the pretext of work  (chuckles).

Did you watch any Indian movies while you are here?
Oh, yeah! I love Shah Rukh Khan! I have seen many of his movies. When I was shooting in India in 2008, everywhere I went, I saw posters of Hrithik Roshan’s period film. I couldn’t see the movie, but I was very impressed with the trailers. Aishwarya Rai is quite popular here with a lot of American people. In fact, among actors, her father-in-law is also well known, though I forgot his name. I’d love to do a Bollywood movie with these guys!

You seem to have researched Indian culture well – you’ve not had any trouble pronouncing Indian names. Did your research also help you in your current role of an Iranian in the TV series, 90210?
(Smiles) Thanks. Well, yeah, I’m a first-generation American, so I had friends from several cultures while growing up, including Indian and Iranian friends. In a sense, I used my life and my experiences as ‘research’ for the roles.

Do you feel it’s a stereotype to have an ‘Asian geek’ on an American TV show?
Definitely not, because in high school, you have people of all kinds of ethnicity. And as opposed to a geek, I think Navid represents an everyman. He’s a nice guy, and a struggler, who feels the whole world is on his shoulders.

How similar or different were you from your character, Navid Shirazi, during your high school years?
We were similar because even I was kind of a social outsider, since my family is also not from the US. So I was always trying to feel connected with the culture, absorbing the American life. We are different because Navid matured much faster that me! He’s faced many obstacles including seeing his girlfriend through rehab. I had a much simpler high school experience.

Critics have felt that there’s too much sex in the show, considering its about high school kids.
The show is a drama of high- end students, and the writers have to get people to watch it. So, of course, they push the envelope, but that’s necessary to understand how high school kids react in stressful situations.

But Navid’s character is sober, quite unlike the rest.
(Laughs) Well, if the writers want me to go crazy, I’d love that! But honestly, I’d like Navid to get more into journalism and raise important issues like healthcare and world issues, so kids who watch the show realise that they need to be responsible too.

What memories do you have of watching the original Beverly Hills 90210, while growing up?
You know, every guy, who had a TV, learnt how to talk to girls and pick them up, by watching the show. Watching it was like doing homework!

You and your wife went to high school together. What does she have to say about the show?
It’s funny because she comes from an affluent background, so she used to have 90210 kind of parties in high school, while I used to serve people from 90210 in those parties! And now, I’m on the show. She finds it quite funny that I’m reliving my high school now.

So, when do you come back to India next?
(Laughs) Oh, I’m already planning a vacation! The last time, I couldn’t visit the South, so I’d love to do that.
